Researcher Interview Questions

Congratulations! You’ve received a completed IdealTraits personality assessment from a candidate. They have shown interest in the role and have taken the steps to move forward by investing their time and energy.

You can create an interview based on the assessment results. This allows you to dig deeper to get to know your candidate better to determine if the role fits.

Below are questions to ask based on their personality result:

Researcher:

  1. Describe when you needed to contact customers about rate increases, billing errors, etc. What was your approach? What did you say? What was the response?

  2. Part of your responsibilities will be handling customers coming into the office. How will you adjust your priorities, schedule, and tasks to accommodate the customers? Will you be able to walk away from unfinished tasks? Occasionally, have unfinished projects at the end of the day.

  3. Our phone doesn’t stop ringing. What do you do to keep yourself from getting stressed out?

  4. Your manager asks you to create a process for an unfamiliar or untrained task. How would you handle it?

  5. What's your communication style? What way do you prefer to communicate with others?

  6. What has been the greatest disappointment in your career?

  7. You are completing paperwork for a client and realize missed an important detail that could lose the entire deal. What do you do?
