On April 24th, 2023, ZipRecruiter will no longer allow job ads to be posted without a listed salary. If you do not provide a salary range when posting your job, ZipRecruiter will provide an estimate on your behalf.

What has changed?

While you have the option to not include a salary in your job ad, ZipRecruiter no longer leaves these salary spaces blank. Rather than not listing a salary at all, when you do not manually include a salary range in your job ad, ZipRecruiter will add a salary estimate to your job ad.

Why is this important?

ZipRecruiter is committed to building transparency in order to deliver best-in-class results to job seekers and employers. According to ZipRecruiter data, jobs listed with advertised pay information receive 50% more applications on average and are 3 times as likely to deliver quality candidates.

Is my ad affected?

If you have already included a salary range in your job, this change will not affect you. If you do not currently list a salary, check out our Help Center for tips and tricks on accurately describing your salary range within your job ad to ensure your ad(s) are both visible and competitive.
