Getting Started with Verified First Background Checks

Learn how to get set up with the Verified First Integration to send and complete background checks directly from IdealTraits.

Getting Started:

To connect IdealTraits and Verified First, click the Settings Gear in the top right corner of the screen and select Marketplace.

Once you have gotten to the Marketplace page, select Background Checks from the Categories menu on the left side of the page.

Locate the Verified First block and click Request Info.

This will direct you to the Verified First website where they will collect your contact information along with a bit of information about your company. Fill out the required fields and click Submit.


Onboarding:

Within 24 Business Hours of submitting your information, Verified First will reach out to gather some additional information about your background check needs. Once you are ready to get your account set up, Verified First will reach out to Schedule a Demo.

After meeting with your designated Verified First representative, you will receive an email to Schedule an Onboarding once your portal has been created. It generally takes 1-2 Business Days after finalizing an agreement for the portal to be ready to use.


Completing the Integration:

Once your account has been created, you will receive an email with the links necessary to create a Verified First account password and download the Chrome Extension to easily access Verified First.

Once you have completed the onboarding process with Verified First you will be ready to start sending Background Checks directly to candidates through your IdealTraits account.
