You just posted an ad through IdealTraits and you're on your way to hiring your Ideal candidate. That's awesome! However, if you see that you aren't getting as much traffic as you expected or you want to start your hiring process right away with maximum visibility, you should consider sponsorship! Sponsoring gives your ad an advantage over free organic ads and other offices in your area that may be hiring. When you sponsor your job posting, you are expanding your candidate pool by making the job more visible to job seekers via its position at the top of Indeed's boards or making sure it is a preferred ad that is sent to job seekers via ZipRecruiter.
Helpful Hint: If you are sponsoring an ad that has been posted for a while make sure it isn't going to expire soon. Instead, either sponsor immediately after posting the ad OR re-post the ad as new to get the most out of sponsorship.
While a sponsorship does not guarantee a specific number of candidates or qualifications, it does give you more opportunities to assess a larger pool of candidates to find that personality that will fit right into your office and be your next superstar!
So how do you sponsor an ad? Follow these steps!
Post your ad in IdealTraits by clicking the blue "post ad" button at the bottom of your ad as shown below
You will be directed to this screen that says "Congratulations, your job ad has been submitted". After that, you will see a "Continue" tab for sponsorship with 2 job board options: Indeed and ZipRecruiter.
Once you decide which sponsorship option and which job board is right for you, click "Continue" under its logo to launch a pay screen. For ZipRecruiter it is a flat fee of $299 for 30 days. Indeed however will take you through an oauth process and then ask you to choose or set up a custom budget for your specific area and hiring needs to target your individual goals.
Once you finalize your payment, you will be redirected back to the original congratulations page and instead of "Continue", you will see "posted" under the job board you chose.
Next, click the 'View All' jobs button at the top left of the page.
Once you are back to the view all jobs screen the ad you sponsored will say "sponsored" for ads sponsored with ZipRecruiter or "sponsor pending" if you chose Indeed. In the case of an Indeed sponsorship, a representative will reach out to you to discuss the details of your sponsorship!
