This integration uses AgencyZoom's Web Lead Integration to create an email forwarding address. When a new candidate applies in IdealTraits, their information is automatically forwarded to AgencyZoom and imported into the pipeline of your choice.
Before you begin: This integration only sends candidate information when they first apply. It will only pass along the candidate's first name, last name, email address, and phone number.
Part 1: Set Up the Web Lead Integration in AgencyZoom
Step 1. Navigate to Integrations
In AgencyZoom, click the settings gear in the bottom left to open the settings menu. Under the Manage section, select Integration.
Step 2. Open the App Marketplace
From the Integrations page, navigate to the AgencyZoom App Marketplace. Click on the Web Lead Integration card.
Step 3. Add a New Web Lead Integration
Click the + Web Lead Integration button in the top right corner.
Step 4. Select IdealTraits as the Vendor
In the vendor list, find and select IdealTraits, then click Next to proceed through the setup steps.
Step 5. Complete the Setup Prompts
Follow the remaining steps in the setup wizard:
Lead Source: Choose or create the lead source you want candidates to be tagged with.
Target Pipeline: Select which pipeline in AgencyZoom these candidates should be added to.
Assignment: Choose which team member the leads should be assigned to.
Finish: Review your selections and complete the setup.
Step 6. Copy the Email Forwarding Address
Once setup is complete, AgencyZoom will generate a unique email forwarding address for this integration. Copy that email address, you will need it for the next part.
Part 2: Add the Forwarding Address in IdealTraits
Step 1. Open Hiring Settings
In your IdealTraits account, navigate to Settings Gear > Hiring Settings.
Step 2. Go to Notifications
In the left-hand menu, click Notifications.
Step 3. Paste the Email Address
Find the New Candidate Alert field and paste the email forwarding address you copied from AgencyZoom.
That's it! From this point on, whenever a new candidate applies to one of your jobs in IdealTraits, their information will automatically be forwarded to AgencyZoom and added to your selected pipeline.
What Information Is Sent to AgencyZoom
This integration passes the following candidate information to AgencyZoom at the time of application:
First name
Last name
Email address
Phone number
Note: This integration only triggers when a new candidate applies. It does not send updates if a candidate's information changes or when they move to a different stage in your pipeline.
Need to Send More Information?
If you need to send additional candidate data to AgencyZoom, or if you want to trigger the send at a different stage in your hiring process rather than at the point of application, you can set up a webhook instead.
Keep in mind that AgencyZoom does not have a seamless direct webhook connection with IdealTraits. A webhook integration will require a third-party tool (such as Zapier or Make) to map the data between the two platforms.
