If an applicant reports they have not received the assessment email, you can manually provide them with a direct link to access the assessment.
Step 1: Check for Common Issues
Before sending the link manually, verify the following:
Email accuracy: Ensure the applicant entered their email address correctly. Here's how to change their email.
Spam/junk folder: Ask the applicant to check their spam folder.
Search by subject line: Have them search their inbox for the subject line, "[First Name], your online assessment is ready!"
If the email is still not found, you can manually send the assessment link using the steps below.
Step 2: Manually Access the Assessment Link
1. Go to the Candidates tab at the top of your dashboard.
2. Select the candidate's name from the list.
3. Click their email address located just below their name in the top-left corner.
4. Select the “Assessment” folder in the email template dropdown.
5. Choose the “Assessment - Next Steps” template from the options provided.
6. Within the template, right-click on the blue “Start Your Assessment” link and select "Copy link address."
7. Send the copied URL to the applicant through your preferred communication channel (e.g., personal email or text).
When the applicant opens the link, they’ll be prompted to create a password and begin the assessment.
If an applicant is not receiving their assessment email, sending the link manually is a simple workaround. Following the steps above ensures they can access and complete the assessment without delay, helping keep your hiring process on track.
